03/05/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 2 May, the European Commission announced that it was extending its investigation into the benefits of the EU market for the development of long-term gas products, decarbonisation and the reduction of methane emissions, through a permanent mechanism for demand aggregation and joint purchasing under the EU Energy Platform (see EUROPE B13390A21).
